Have you ever looked at someone’s newsletter and thought: “SO FAB. How on earth are they doing all that? Weekly posts, amazing content…”

In this CERTIFIED SPECIAL, I’m here to end your questions. But I had to ask some people a few questions for that…

1. The Selleb Sisters.

Sister- founded.

Yes, your favorite sisters are here!

The

Selleb Sisters
, Chloe and Claire, who are also the co-founders of Selleb, a social app where you can see what the coolest people on the internet are actually buying through their purchase receipts, have one of the most FAB Substack pages of all time, providing subscribers with curated product recommendations, insights into trending items, and a glimpse into the lifestyle of the "very online" community.

I reached out to my favorite sisters to ask them a few questions about their writing routines, and they delivered (as always), check it out:

What does Selleb’s typical writing day look like?

Selleb Sisters
: No two days look the same!

As a sister duo, one of us leads the charge for any given newsletter and the other typically edits and sends. Even with a consistent schedule of 1 free edition and 2 paid per week, we do find ourselves oftentimes writing content the night before a post goes out…at the eleventh hour…oops.

We are founders after all and Substack is just 1 slice (albeit a very important one) of the pie! We try our best to do most of our writing on the weekends (to avoid the late night weekday writing sessions) and draft skeletons for paid editions as soon as inspiration strikes (to then fill in the blanks later). The first step is often the hardest so it helps to break the seal immediately (i.e., open a new draft and let the stream of consciousness stream) before any excuse-making/procrastination has time to even enter the zone of possibility.

How do you guys decide what to write about in each newsletter edition?
